ITINERARY 6 NIGHTS/ 7 DAYS

DAY 01: GUWAHATI AIRPORT / RLY STN– SHILLONG (130 KMS / 3 hrs drive)

Arrival at Guwahati airport or Rly station & drive to Shillong. Enroute visit Umium Lake. Check in Hotel. If time permits visit Ward’s lake, lady hyderi park etc. Overnight at Shillong

DAY 02: DAY TRIP TO CHERRAPUNJEE (60 KMs / 2 hrs-One way)

Today morning after breakfast excursion to Cherrapunjee. Visit Dwan Syiem view point, Noh kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, Eco park etc. Later drive back to Shillong. On the way visit to Shillong Peak & Elephant Falls. In the evening, you can go for shopping at Police Bazar. Overnight in Shillong.

DAY 03: LOCAL SIGHTSEEING IN SHILLONG

Full day Local sightseeing in Shillong including The city’s own Ward’s Lake is popular for short garden walks & boating. The Botanical Garden offers plethora of indigenous and exotic plants & rare collection of orchids. Lady Hydari Park is a Japanese style landscaped park endowed with streaches of roses & exquisite flowers. One of the largest Golf courses in Asia is an 18 hole Golf Course is charted amidst a surging valley full of thick pine groves & rhododendron trees. Spend the evening in the splendid arena! The State Museum is a display of the lifestyle and heritage of the people of Meghalaya. Shillong and its surrounding is dotted with splendid waterfalls cascading down deep valleys forming misty sparks as they break the silence of the surroundings. Elephant Falls is a mountain stream gorging down two successive falls set in dells of fern covered rocks. For the Bird’s eye view of Shillong, one can take a stand at Shillong Peak. Overnight at Shillong.

DAY 04: SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA

Today morning after breakfast transfer to Kaziranga . Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 05: KAZIRANGA

Early morning go for one jeep safari & Return for Breakfast. After lunch Jeep safari in the Central Range. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 06 : KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI

Early morning go for 01 jeep safari and after lunch back to Guwahati. Overnight at Guwahati.

Day 07. DEPARTURE

After breakfast go for Maa Kamakahya Visit and then drop at Guwahati Airport.
